The role

A Compliance Assistant at Tecknuovo is responsible for ensuring 100% compliance across our Associate community. This role is responsible for managing the contract and vetting process at onboarding, during the tenure of our Associate’s engagement and through to the offboarding stage.

By initiating effective communication, advancing collaboration across the hubs, and promoting exceptional compliance practices, this role is pivotal in ensuring that effective compliance activities are imbedded and maintained at all stages in the engagement process and directly contribute to Associates having a positive experience with Tecknuovo.

The role will also contribute to producing key compliance documentation, including user guides, policies, and training material to support the ongoing adherence with our legal obligations, client requirements and good business practices.

In addition, it is expected this role will own, or contribute to ad hoc projects aimed at enhancing compliance processes and maximising the impact the compliance hub makes to the business.

Reporting directly into the Compliance Executive, this position requires excellent communication skills, a high level of attention to detail and the ability to both challenge and take initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Associate pre-engagement screening in accordance with standard and client-specific requirements to ensure 100% compliance within the specified deadline.

  • Collection and secure storage of all Associate documentation including Right to Work documentation.

  • Coordination with compliance screening partner to ensure vetting checks are completed in a timely manner and deadlines are met.

  • Accurate and timely completion of Associate contract documentation, including Statement of Works, Change Orders, NDAs, Data Protection policies.

  • Issuing of compliance related communications to Associates including welcome emails, compliance requests, reminders and updates and conclusion of services.

  • Ongoing Associate compliance ensuring time limited checks are monitored and managed against SOW end dates, including the expiry of visas, insurances, IR35 assessments and self-billing agreements.

  • Collection and maintenance of accurate Associate compliance data on all platforms to align with contractual documentation, escalating issues and collaborating with hubs to initiate process improvements where required.

  • Support of SOW and Associate IR35 Assessments.

  • Associate audit with finance hub.
  • Ensuring discrepancies with bank details, VAT and limited company details (eg email address and registered address) are resolved and data across platforms is updated accordingly.
  • Associate audit with Delivery hub
  • Ensuring all start dates, end dates, rates of pay, signed contracts, signed NDAs, signed opt outs, completed IR35 assessments, signed change orders and any conclusion of services emails are stored correctly and securely and up to date.
  • Management of Associate reference requests.

The Experience

  • Experience working in a fast-paced delivery-led environment with a focus on Associate onboarding and offboarding

  • Admin experience

  • 2-5 years experience working in an office environment
